Default [Pre]Ranger Mods & Insigs ?s

Hey, I was wondering what would be the best way to go for the best result in Charr Boss runs. I wanna know what Mods/Insigs I should put into my armor.

5x radiant, 1+1 marks, 1 WS, 1 expertise, 2 attunement.

That way you can spam bow attacks all you want. Of course, now that powershot is dead, you really don't need that...

Depending on what level you are and how much trouble you are having with the charr you probably want to run full beastmasters. Radiant isn't really needed if you have a decent rank in expertise, as you only really have 2 bow attacks that are of use to you. Also make sure to run a minor vigor and 1+1 marksmanship, +1 expertise, and +1 wilderness survival.

Is there any certain pieces they should go into?

Generally speaking, you'll want to put the rune on the headpeice with the matching bonus. To clarify, most helmets give +1 to an attribute. You'll want to put the rune of that attribute on the helmet. So if you got a helmet (well, mask) that gave +1 to Marksmanship, it would be best to put the Marksmanship rune there. It's more practical when you're swapping builds and/or armor sets (though if you aren't going to get multiple sets of armor it doesn't matter).

@Marty - he's asking about armor in pre-searing. The headpiece you get from Professor Yakkington for 50 Red Iris is +1 depending on the rune you attach.

I would recommend using an Expertise rune on your headpiece.
